These Terms of Use govern your access to the Wix Products mobile application operated by Director Joan Cosmetics Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By installing or using the app you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. The service
Wix Products is a storefront for skincare and related goods sold by Director Joan Cosmetics Ltd from Tanzania. The app lets you browse products, save favourites, place orders, and pay by supported mobile-money methods.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract under Tanzanian law. If you use the app on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.
3. Accounts
The app may create a device-based guest session so you can browse and order without signing in. Linking a phone number with an SMS code attaches orders to a verified account. You are responsible for the phone number and device you use. You may delete your account from Profile or by contacting info@wixproducts.com.
4. Orders and prices
Product details and prices are shown in Tanzanian Shillings and may change before you complete checkout. An order is an offer to buy. We may refuse or cancel an order if an item is unavailable, a price is clearly wrong, or payment does not complete. We will try to contact you on the number you provided.
5. Payment
Checkout may request a mobile-money PIN on your phone through our payment partner. You authorise us to collect the amount shown for that order. If payment fails, the order may remain unpaid or be cancelled. You must only use a number you are authorised to pay from.
6. Delivery
Delivery is available in the zones shown in the app. Times are estimates. Risk in the goods passes when they are handed to you or your nominated recipient. You must provide an accurate address and a reachable phone number.
7. Returns and quality
Cosmetics that have been opened may not be returnable for hygiene reasons, except where Tanzanian consumer law requires otherwise. If an item arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, contact us promptly with your order number at +255 757 520 606 or WhatsApp.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- misuse OTP codes, device credentials, or another person’s phone number;
- attempt to interfere with the app, API, or payment flow;
- use the app for unlawful resale or fraud;
- copy, scrape, or reverse engineer the app except as allowed by law.
9. Intellectual property
The Wix Products name, product photography, and app design belong to Director Joan Cosmetics Ltd or our licensors. These terms do not transfer any ownership to you. “Wix Products” refers to our cosmetics business and is not affiliated with Wix.com Ltd.
10. Availability
We aim to keep the app available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features, including payment methods, with or without notice.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or data loss arising from use of the app. Our total liability for a claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud where the law does not allow it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Courts in Dar es Salaam have jurisdiction, without affecting any non-waivable consumer rights you may have.
